Yes. The free plan covers flashcards, quizzes, summaries, mind maps and spaced repetition, with a monthly allowance of AI generations and access to the chat with the AI tutor Max. It needs no card and shows no ads. Premium adds unlimited generations, mock exams, podcasts and unlimited study groups.

PDFs, Word documents, PowerPoint slides, images (JPEG, PNG) including photos of handwritten notes, .txt files and pasted text. You can also record a lecture live on the web or in the mobile app. Studyflash also imports Anki decks (.apkg).

ChatGPT and NotebookLM answer questions, but they do not plan when you review or test you under exam conditions. Studyflash generates cards and quizzes from your own lecture material and schedules each card by how well you remembered it last time. It also runs course-level mock exams, which can use a past exam as the template. Max, the tutor, answers only from your uploaded sources and cites them. It does not search the web.

Yes. Any AI can make mistakes, so treat generated cards as a draft you check and edit. Studyflash reduces the risk by working only from the material you upload, not the open web, and by refining its pipelines to maximize accuracy and coverage. Max also cites the passage in your sources that each answer comes from, so you can check it in one click.

Studyflash can't promise a grade, but it gets you exam-ready on your own course. Flashcards are scheduled with spaced repetition so you remember them on exam day. Practice exams are timed and graded like the real thing, and can be modelled on a past exam you upload. Yes. Studyflash works in 27 languages, both in the interface and in the generated content, including English, German, French, Italian, Spanish, Dutch, Polish, and many more. Voice chat with Max works in all of them. Mock exams are graded on your country's scale.

Yes. Studyflash has apps for iPhone, iPad and Android as well as the web app, and your decks sync across all of them. On the phone apps, flashcards, quizzes, summaries and mind maps you have already generated work without a connection, and your progress syncs when you are back online. Generating new material needs a connection, and podcasts stream rather than download.
